1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Tarefay collects, uses, retains and protects information related to the use of the platform and its services.

By using Tarefay, users acknowledge that certain information is necessary to provide tasks, manage accounts, process rewards, process withdrawals, maintain platform security and comply with applicable legal obligations in Moçambique.

2. Information we may collect

We may collect information provided directly by users, including information used to create and manage an account, contact information and other information submitted while using the platform.

We may also collect information related to the use of Tarefay, including tasks viewed or completed, submissions and completion proofs, rewards, balances, withdrawals, referrals and other activities performed through an account.

3. IP address and location

Tarefay may collect and use the IP address used to access the platform. The IP address may be used to determine an approximate location, such as country or region.

This information may be used for security, fraud and abuse prevention, activity analysis, enforcement of platform rules and verification of location or eligibility requirements associated with certain tasks.

Location derived from an IP address is approximate and should not be interpreted as an exact physical location.

4. How we use information

Collected information may be used to create and manage accounts, provide tasks, determine the availability of certain opportunities, process submissions, validate activities, manage rewards and process withdrawal requests.

We may also use this information to prevent fraud, abuse, location manipulation, misuse of the platform, multiple accounts or other activities that may violate Tarefay rules.

We may also use information to provide support, improve the platform, analyze service usage, display advertising where applicable and comply with legal obligations.

5. Tasks and task providers

Some tasks may depend on providers or partners that define their own requirements, eligibility criteria and validation processes.

When a task is subject to provider review, the provider may evaluate the completed activity and determine whether the applicable requirements were met.

Tarefay does not guarantee that completing a task will necessarily result in a reward. A reward may be rejected, cancelled, reversed or considered invalid when a provider or validation system identifies an abnormality, failure to meet requirements, suspicious activity or another condition applicable to the task.

6. Rewards and withdrawals

We may process information related to rewards, balances, pending amounts, available amounts and withdrawal requests to maintain account financial records and process requested transactions.

Amounts displayed on the platform may be subject to validation, review, task-specific requirements or other applicable conditions. Completing an activity does not by itself mean that a reward has been finally approved.

To process a withdrawal, we may process the information necessary for the selected payment method and applicable security checks.

7. Referral program

When a user participates in the referral program, we may associate a new registration with the corresponding referral link or code.

We may process information necessary to verify whether the conditions defined by the system have been met before a referral reward is credited.

The referral reward is defined by the system and is not guaranteed merely because someone visits the link or registers through it.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

Tarefay may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, maintaining certain preferences, understanding platform usage, measuring performance and displaying advertising.

Tarefay may use third-party services necessary to operate, analyze, secure or monetize the platform.

Services used by the platform may include Google Analytics and Monetag. Each third-party service may process information according to its own terms and privacy policies.

Tarefay may share information with service providers and partners when necessary to operate the platform, provide tasks, validate activities, process payments, prevent fraud, provide support or perform other service-related functions.

We may also disclose information when required by law, by an order from a competent authority, or when we consider it necessary to protect Tarefay, its users, third parties, or our rights and legitimate interests.

11. International processing and transfers

As a digital platform available internationally, certain information may be processed or stored by service providers located outside the user's country.

Where applicable, we seek to use service providers that implement appropriate information protection and security measures in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

Despite these measures, no Internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security. Users should also protect their credentials and avoid sharing them with third parties.

Some requests may be subject to identity verification or limitations permitted by applicable law and legitimate security and record-keeping requirements.

Closing an account does not necessarily result in the immediate deletion of all information. Certain information may need to be retained for the period necessary to comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, maintain financial records or protect Tarefay's rights.

16. Minors

Use of the platform is intended for people aged 16 or older.

We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from individuals below the permitted minimum age. If we become aware that information has been provided by a minor in violation of this rule, we may take steps to remove the information and restrict the account.
